SE280HSZ-PACK All-Electric Injection Molding Machine Demonstration

Sumitomo (SHI) Demag's SE-HSZ-Pack all-electric injection molding machines bring the advantages of advanced direct-drive motor technology to high-speed packaging molding applications in the mid-tonnage range. In this demo, an SE280HSZ-Pack runs an 8-cavity thin-wall food cup mold on a 2.75-second cycle. The PP containers weigh 6.3 g each (total shot weight 50.4 g). Maximum injection speed is 650 mm/sec.
